Safety Compliance Training for Scaffolds

The purpose of this class is to train personnel in the safe erection, inspection and dismantling of scaffolding.

The class will provide scaffold erectors with knowledge of the regulations, safety guidelines and procedures needed to recognize and eliminate hazards in the field satisfying OSHA’s training requirements as defined in 29CFR 1926.454.

This 4.5-hour course covers Federal, State, and Local regulations. General safety checks as required by 29CFR 1926. Identification of scaffolding components, proper scaffolding erection, proper use of planking and ties. The use of rolling tower, tube and clamp, and system scaffolding. Proper inspection and approval of scaffolding.

The class can be tailored to the specific type of scaffolding that the trainees use on a regular basis. All students will be required to pass an examination at course completion.

 

All training is performed in accordance with Federal OSHA, applicable State-chartered OSHA, and other State Regulations and local Ordinances.
