The purpose of this 2-hour course is
to provide the scaffold user with the regulations, safety
guidelines and procedures needed to identify tagging systems,
recognize the hazards when using frame, rolling tower, tube
& clamp system scaffolding. And to understand the procedures
to control and eliminate those hazards.
Satisfactory completion of the class will assist the student
in satisfying the OSHA's training requirements as defined
in 29 CFR 1926.454. Each student will receive certification
at the end of the class.
This course also covers Federal, State, and Local regulations.
General safety checks are required by 29 CFR 1926. A practical
session will be used to insure that all students have a good
understanding of proper scaffolding techniques and safety
precautions.
Class will consist of classroom time and hands-on in the
field if a scaffold is available. Class can be taught in English
or Spanish.
