Confined Space Entry Training

This course is designed to give the student the knowledge, skill, and materials to be certified as a Confined Space Entrant and/or Attendant. The course involves an in depth study of the Confined Space regulation and all the safety requirements needed to provide a "Permit" for the Space.

Critical issues covered include how to conduct atmospheric testing, set up proper ventilation, equip personnel and space with safety/rescue devices, perform lockout/tagout of any necessary machinery, select proper personal protective equipment, and perform Non-Entry rescue duties. The material is presented in a fashion to facilitate learning. The students will receive a Reference Manual for use after the class.

The student will be certified for entry or attendance of "Confined Spaces". This course is approximately twelve (12) hours, eight hours of acedemic and classroom exercises and four hours of hands-on training. An eight-hour course is available for certain situations or environments.
